About Me

Hi Everyone!

dr nick f

My name is Emma Brown. I have been offered a place as a Cast Member in EPCOT, Walt Disney World Resort Orlando! My role will be in Food and Beverage in the United Kingdom Pavilion, and I absolutely cannot wait.

I was born and bred in Birmingham in England, though I spent three years in Sheffield England while studying for my BA in English Literature. I also spent a summer in Vietnam, which gave me the travel bug. I was looking for an adventure, and the Disney Cultural Representative Programme seemed perfect.

I’ve always loved Disney, the romance and adventure of it all has appealed to me throughout all my life, the up and the down and everything in between. I went to Orlando 4 times between the ages of 11-14 with my Dad, Mom and Brother, and my memories of the happy times there will stay with me forever. Some people claim Disney is just another corporation like everyone else, but that is not true at all. Some of the happiest times of my childhood was spent there, and it was the last time I went on a holiday with all my family as my Mom sadly passed away when I was 15. I know she would be thrilled that I have this job, and I hope to make her proud.

Enjoy my blog everyone- whether you are looking for more information about the programme or whether you want to stay up to date with what I’m up to.

Remember, adventure is out there!

  1. Hi 🙂 I have been invited to the final face to face interview in London next month, and was wondering if you had any advice? I was quite prepared in the first group interview for the obvious questions and just made sure that I was myself. Was the face to face interview quite similar to your first interview? I’m trying not to get my hopes up but don’t want to have any regrets after the interview!

    • Hi Laura!
To be honest I thought the questions were very similar in both interviews. The main difference for me was that it was more nerve-wracking being in a one on one interview. Remember to be as happy and smiley as possible and give yourself PLENTY of time to get ready in the morning in case of things like traffic or waking up late or something. Best of luck! xx
